Cartoon Comic Book Strip Nail Art

Hi everyone! Time for some midweek nail art.  I have these funky Cartoon Comic Book Strip Nail Art to share with you.  My inspiration for this was the old Batman comics you used to be able to get.  I think those comics must have been dead cheesy and wish I could live my life with little action bubbles.  Imagine if you accidenlty smashed a glass in the kitchen and a little action bubble appeared saying "SMASH!" cool eh?  Without further ado though, lets get onto the nail art! ;-)

Polishes Used:
nails inc - Fulham Palace Gardens
nails inc - Notting Hill Gate
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Kiwi Bikini
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Lemon Zest
Sally Hansen Lacquer Shine - Brilliant
Seche Vite

I started off by painting a light coat of the Notting Hill Gate which is a neon pink polish, followed by a coat of the Fulham Palace Gardens to add dimension to the background.

I then went in with the Lemon Zest by adding a large drop of the polish to the nail and using my small nail art brush, I pushed it out to make the triangles.

Finally, I outlined the yellow with Kiwi Bikini and (just to make the statements pop a little more) the Lacquer Shine in Brilliant.

Its all topped off with a coat of Seche Vite.

I did a similar design on my ring finger from Monday's Cute Cartoon Dog Themed nails which you can find here.

So what do you think?  Do you think everyday life would be exciting with little action bubbles?  I came up with my glass smashing kitchen example - leave a comment with some more scenarios! I look forward to reading them!

PS.  There's a little action button on the other end of this link where you can "SUBSCRIBE!" to Spangley Nails KA-POW!
