Then And Now: Alice In Wonderland Nail Art

Hi everyone! When I sat down to do my nails tonight, I actually had no idea what I was going to do, so what you are looking at now wasn't planned at all! I drew the pocket watch first, then the rest just fell into place.  Whilst drawing the pocket watch though, I remembered that I done Alice In Wonderland nails a while ago and I decided to incorporate them into a "Then And Now" series for Spangley Nails.

I love reading these sort of posts on other people blogs because I like to be able to see how far people have come in their nail art journey, so I hope you will enjoy reading mine as much.

There is a picture of the Alice In Wonderland nail art I done 37 weeks ago after the jump.

Polishes Used:
nails inc - South Kensington (Pictured)
Revlon - Blue Lagoon
Sinful Colors - Sugar N Spice
OPI - Dutch Ya Just Love OPI?
Essie - Cascade Cool
Sinful Colors - Cotton Candy
Revlon - Electric
Revlon - Steel Her Heart
nails inc - Pimlico
Barry M - White
Barry M - Black
Seche Vite

I started off by painting my index and middle finger with Blue Lagoon, my ring finger with Sugar N Spice and my pinkie White.  I got some striping tape and marked ring finger horizontally and my pinkie vertically.  I then painted Dutch Ya Just Love OPI? onto my ring finger and Steel Her Heart onto my pinkie and removed the tape.

For my index finger, I marked off rectangles with White, outlined them with Black and added the details with Black (again!) and Pimlico.  I also done this for the "Eat Me" on my pinkie.  For my middle finger, I painted a large semi circle with White onto the corner.  I added the details with South Kensington and Black and for effect I added a diamond rhinestone.

Finally, I added the details on The Cheshire Cat with Electric, Cotton Candy and Cascade Cool (details outlined with White and Black, obvs!)  Its all topped off with a coat of Seche Vite.

So what do you think?  Can you notice a difference in 37 weeks? ;-)
