1. The reaction to yesterdays nail art, 1 word - WOWZERS. The response has been incredible. My Instagram feed totally blew up (in a good way) with likes, comments and new followers. I am so grateful to have new followers, old followers and faithful followers so Welcome aboard this Happy Spangley Family! If you missed yesterdays post, not to worry, catch up here.
2. The weather in the UK right now is, 1 word - TROPICAL. We are having such a heat wave! Not to worry though, I'm using the fact that I have bad Hay Fever as an excuse to stay indoors and paint my nails, mwahaha - where are you in the world? What's the weather like where you are?
Without further ado though, onto today's nail art, and continuing with #NailArtJul the prompt for today was Vintage. I was quite enjoying today's nails, but no doubt they'll not be as successful as yesterdays.
Polishes Used:
Ciate - Iced Frappe (Pictured)
Rimmel Space Dust - Aurora
Konad - White
Sinful Colors - Snow Me White
Seche Vite
{& MoYou London Pro Plate 04}
I started off by painting my index, ring and pinkie finger with 2 coats of Iced Frappe - this gorgeous nude is the perfect dupe for nails inc's Porchester Square - see Nail Art with that polish here, here and here, I'm sure you'll agree.
Anyway, using Snow Me White (my new favourite white) and my small dotting tools, I dotted polka dots onto my pinkie finger.
For my middle finger, I added 2 coats of Aurora and a white Bow Nail Decal that I got from Born Pretty Store. If you want to purchase the bows too, the you can do so here. Enter code LJL91 at the checkout for a 10% discount AND free world wide shipping. Just a heads up, you get 10 Bows for 99 US Cents. With my 10% discount, thats 90 US Cents - around 60p to you if you're in the UK like me - Bargain!
For my ring finger, I used my small nail art brush and Aurora (again) to make some vintage roses. If you want to learn how to do these, I have a tutorial here. I added leaves to the roses with Snow Me and White and a quick coat of Seche Vite to finish it off.
Finally, for my index finger, I stamped on the handwriting from MoYou London Pro Plate 04 with Konad White and added 2 gold studs. Its all topped off with a coat of Seche Vite (Apart from my middle finger!)
