#NailArtJul Day 7 - Matte

Hi everyone.  Happy Sunday! Sorry for my lack of posts last week, I had quite possibly thee most busy week since Christmas! Everything will be back on track this week though and I've got some exciting stuff lined up too.  For today, however, I have Day 7 here of the "Totally Doable I Have A Life Challenge" and the theme is Matte!

Polishes Used:
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure - Bandage (Pictured)
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure - Nightwatch
Colour Club - Unnamed Glitter
Rimmel - Matte Finish
Seche Vite

I started off by painting all of my nails with Bandage - my new favourite Nude - whilst that was drying I applied a thin layer of Seche Vite to speed up the drying for my striping tape.

Once that was completely dry (it took approximately 10 mins) I added to vertical lines of Striping Tape to all of my nails.

I got the striping tape from Born Pretty Store, so if you want to purchase some, the you can do so here.  Enter code LJL91 at the checkout for a 10% discount AND free world wide shipping.  Just a heads up, you get 30 rolls for 99 US Cents.  With my 10% discount, thats 90 US Cents - around 60p to you if you're in the UK like me - Bargain!

Next, I added a layer of Nightwatch and removed the tape straight away.  If you are unsure of anything Tape Mani related, head to my tutorial here and hopefully all your questions will be answered (if not, leave a comment and I'll try my best to help!)

Finally, I added the Unnamed Glitter to the strip of Nightwatch in the middle and once it was dry I applied a coat of Seche Vite to everything, then a strip of Matte Finish to the middle section only.

I really wish Color Club were more active at naming their polishes because this little gem of a polish is amazing! Look at the pretty colours!

This stunning polish changes colour everytime you move your hand - Ive tried my best to show this in the below picture but it is near impossible to get an "in real life" capture.  It goes from purple to blue to green and to this redy/orange.
