Anyway, I have decided that I am no longer going to allow dry skin to ruin my polishing party so have decided to come back with a vengeance and participate in the MoYou London Rainbow Challenge on Instagram.
Basically, this challenge will run for a week - much more realistic than the last one, AND all you have to do is post a manicure with the corresponding colour of that day - I will post said itinerary at the end. I am posting Monday's Manicure (as MoYou annouced it quite late, they said it was A-OK to post yesterday's, today) and todays. The only real rule, as such, with this challenge is that you can only use the colour of the day, black and/or white on your nails (as well as MoYou Stamps) - oh boy, have I underestimated this bad boy?!
As you can see by the title of this blog, Monday was Red day. I remembered the green roses I done for depression awareness last Sunday (if you missed it, read it here) and kept chanting "roses are red..." SO I done a spin off of my #FightForLightAndLive manicure for Day One.
Polishes Used:
Sinful Colors - Snow Me White (Pictured)
Color Club - Unnamed Red
w7 - Red Dazzle
Seche Vite
MoYou Plate(s) Used:
Pro Plate 04
I started off by painting all my nails with Snow Me White. To speed up the drying process, I added thin coat of Seche Vite and waited for it to dry completely before attempting to stamp.
I stamped using Pro Plate 04 and the Unnamed Red. As you may know, the images are getting slightly small for my nails, so I need to "colour in the blanks" as it were. So I used my Unnamed Red and gave myself a half-moon mani topped with Red Dazzle.
Its all topped off with a coat of Seche Vite and some loose glitter to emphasize the centre of the flowers.
As I mentioned above, here is the rest of the challenge prompts. I for one am very excited about it all!
