I recently got my hands on the MoYou London Time Traveller 70's Plate 01 which has a really neat image of this famous scene on it - I knew it would be perfect for what I wanted to do. I didn't want to take anything away from the scene shown on middle and ring fingers below which is why I just painted the other 2 nails with Space Dust...
Polishes Used:
Rimmel Space Dust - Shooting Star (Pictured)
Models Own - Black Magic
Konad - White
Seche Vite
(MoYou London Time Traveller Plate 70s 01)
I started off by painting my middle and ring fingers with Black Magic and leaving them to completely dry. Whilst I was waiting, I painted my index and pinkie fingers with Shooting Star. Once they were dry, I added a dab of Seche Vite to the very top and added caviar in the shapes of triangles for some extra pop.

Now that my Black Magic was completely dry, I stamped The Bealtes image from MoYou's Time Traveller 70s Plate onto my nails with Konad White. Finally, I topped it off with a coat of Seche Vite - I love these nails so much!
As I mentioned, this day in history belongs to the Beatles - right, well, I purposely saved this to post til today so I can share their special day too (told ya, I'm a sucker for them!) I FINALLY completed the +CaliforNAILS "Totally Doable I Have A Life Challenge" on Instagram and here is a round up of all 11 designs, plus a recap of all the the menu itself.
So there you have it, the 8th of August 1969 and the 8th of August 2014 - both special for 2 very different reasons :)
