Stamping Decals Made With MoYou London Stamping Plate

I started off writing this post last night, but had no idea how to finish it in an upbeat mood given the news that graced the world yesterday.  I was so utterly shocked to hear that Robin Williams had died in such tragic circumstances.  The nail community has decided to paint their nails green in honour of him on Sunday, I will absolutely definitely be participating in this and hope that if your reading this, part of the nail community or not, you will do the same.  If you do, be sure to post your nails under the hashtag #FightForLightAndLive.  A collage of my favourite Robin Williams movies will be after my nail art.

The nail art I have to share with you is stamping decals made with MoYou Londons Fairytale Plate 05.  I have done 2 variations of it as I wasnt 100% happy with it.  Be sure to let me know which one you prefer - the second one is after the jump.

I think I prefer the first picture, but then I look at the second picture and think hmm, I like that one too!

1st Manicure
I started off by painting my index and pinkie nails with Aurora and my middle and ring fingers with Bandage.

2nd Manicure
I kept my middle and ring finger painted with Aurora but painted my index and pinkie fingers with Gold Save The Queen.

To make the decals, I stamped the MoYou plate with Co-Balt Blue.  I then filled the sections in with Unnamed Kaki and Seymour Walk. The outside dots were filled with Unnamed Rose Gold.  I then covered it in Seche Vite, peeled it off the stamper and stuck it a tacky nail.  Finally, I added another coat of Seche Vite and some gold studs to the centre of the circles!

Still cant decide?  Heres another 2 pictures!

Still cant decide :-( I like them both for different reasons.

Anyway, as I mentioned above, I have a collage of my favourite Robin Williams movies... He was just such a big part of my growing up movies!  Aladdin was the FIRST FILM I seen at the Cinema.  I love Mrs Doubtfire so much, everyone can relate to the situation Daniel (Williams' Character) is in AND this film introduced me to one of my favourite bands - Aerosmith (Dude Looks Like A Lady.)  Jumanji, classic childhood movie. Finally, Hook - I get goosebumps every time I watch it, I could probably recite the script.  I just love the part when Pannig (Williams' character) proves he is Peter Pan & flies to face Hook.  He really was my childhood movie hero.  Thanks for the laughter, tears and memories. RIP Robin Williams.
