Hi everyone! I hope you are all well. Winter is well and truly upon us now, and the cold, dark nights are setting in fast here, in the UK.
I've taken a break from doing my nails, as my life has got super super busy arranging for Christmas and several family birthdays that occur around this time of year. I've really enjoyed taking a back seat and watching the beautiful creations others have come up with on my social media feeds, it's been refreshing.
I thought I better start back with something to honour Movember... Movember encourages men to grow a moustache for the 30 days of November, to support & raise awareness of mens health. If you want more information, you can click here. It really is a great, worldwide cause.
For the gingham pattern, start off by painting your nails white. I used Sinful Colors - Snow Me White. Next, using your lightest colour, make small lines in horizontal or vertical directions on your nail. Build your way up to your darkest colour and try not to use more than 4 and you want to be able to see a small amount of the white. I used Barry M - Lemon Ice Cream, Barry M Gelly - Damson, Barry M Gelly - Dragon and Barry M - Kiwi.
Once that has completely dried, you need MoYou London Hipster Plate 08. Using black polish that you can stamp with, I used an old bottle of Black Magic by Models Own, stamp the moustashe image onto your index, middle and pinkie fingers. If you don't own this stamping plate, you could always freehand the moustaches.
To finish off, I added 2 coats of Rimmels Shooting Star to my ring finger and a black bow to compliment the black moustaches. The black bow is from BornPrettyStore and you will find them here. If you place an order you can save 10% by using the coupon code LJL91 at the checkout.
Happy Movember!! :-)
**Music is Robin Thicke Feat Pharrell Williams - Blurred Lines. I do not own this music.**
