Born Pretty Store Stamping Plates; My Most Favourite Yet?! + GIVEAWAY!! [Closed]

In my opinion, it is without doubt that Born Pretty Store have really upped their game when it comes to the stamping plates they are producing these days.  The newer plates have been super successful and the images are of really high quality across the collection.

If you have been here for a while, you will know I reviewed some Born Pretty stamping plates earlier in the year, and everything I said then still stands: "extremely detailed" and "perfectly etched."  If you haven't read that review yet, you can catch up here.

There is 5 plates in this review, 2 circular ones and 3 larger, rectangular ones.  I will then be giving away stamping plate BP-L012 and some other nail related goodies to one lucky winner! If you would like to be in with the chances, then be sure to read this blog until the end to find out how.

Meebox "Lucky Dip Pink" October 2015 Review

Since 1985, October has been international Breast Cancer Awareness month with hundreds of countries around the world increasing support and focusing total attention on Breast Cancer and what we can do to help prevent it!  Not that it is not important all through the year, its just great to see a whole bunch of countries come together for a whole month dedicated purely to helping women detect this disease earlier and prevent it quicker!

The colour to represent Breast Cancer Awareness is Pink; so girlie and super appropriate.  My friends at MeeBox decided to have a "Lucky Dip Pink" themed box for the month of October with a proportion of their sales being donated to Look Good Feel Better which is a charity supporting Women with the visible effects of cancer.

Twinkled T Nail Vinyls Review

Twinkled T is a family run company by 2 sisters from USA.  They sell nail art supplies from nail brushes, charms, rhinestones and even jewellery.  But most importantly, and with the largest selection, Twinkled T sell Nail Vinyls.

Nail Vinyls.
This nail art craze is going nowhere.

They are the creators of the original swirl (pictured on my nails after the jump) and the Cyclone vinyl (pictured below to the right of the word "review" - not my nails) and just incase you're new to nail art or wondering what on earth I'm talking about, nail vinyls are small pre-cut stickers for your nails that come in loads of different patterns, shapes and sizes.  The most popular ones are chevrons and single chevrons.

Be sure to check out the "Additional Comments" section below for something exciting that makes this company stand out from the crowd!

I came across a new online fashion retailer called BonPrix.  Upon a quick look I can see 100 things I'd love to throw into my basket!  Chock-a-block with the latest trends, styles and colours; I couldn't not do some nails to match a fabulous colour block skater dress I found.

Serious Stamping, No Messing with 4 New Messy Mansion Stamping Plates: A Review

If you've been here for a while you would have seen my previous review on Messy Mansion Stamping plates, if you haven't though, do not fear; just click here.  I have another 4 to show you today from one of their most recent releases INCLUDING the ever so popular, accessories kit.

"Etched perfectly," "original and eye catching," "transferred perfectly onto the nail," are just some of the comments I had to say about the previous set of Messy Mansion plates I reviewed.  The four plates I have to show you today did not disappoint and I have to echo my own comments from before!  The designs were really unique, so different that I couldn't think of any of duplicates.  The plates are so perfectly etched down to the smallest detail that whilst cleaning them after stamping, some of my cotton bud got caught in the tiny lines - you really cannot get any-more perfect etching than that!?

PINK PRINCESS COSMETICS; NAIL POLISH THAT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE ROYALTY! REVIEW, SWATCHES & NAIL ART!

Someone once said, "choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life!" This most certainly must be the case for Tianna Boswell - founder of Pink Princess Cosmetics.  I have so much admiration and respect for nail girls, part of the online nail community who turn their love for polish into a business movement.

With a collection of more than 20, 3 free & cruelty free, luxury nail lacquer - there is something for everybody!  Tianna believes every girl should feel like a princess and with the following statement in her "About" page on the PPN website, she is definitely going the right way about it.

"Who is Pink Princess?
She's got Pretty Girl Swag, but she knows it doesn't come easy.
She Gets What She Wants, but only because she's a Goal Digger.
She Buys Her Own Drinks, she carries herself with Respect.
And she knows that if there's No Risk, there's No Reward.
Is she you?"

NAIL CART DECALS "FLY NAILS FOR FLY GIRLS" THE REVIEW!

If you've been here a while you'll have seen me raving about Nail Decals before.  I love them for so many different reasons, the main one is how little time it takes to create a manicure that looks like it took forever to paint, when in actual fact it took no time at all.  If you've no idea what I'm talking about; nail decals are small pre-printed pictures that become sticky after being submerged in water thus allowing you to stick the tiny pictures onto your nails!

NailCart decal company is run by a woman called Annaliza and is based in Edmonton, Canada.  Nail Cart is not like your average, run of the mill decal company.  Apart from being completely hand made by Annalisa herself, they are custom-able too!  Eh - what!?  Yeah that's right; if you want a picture of your boyfriend or your cat on your nails then Annalisa can make that happen.  I know, talk about miracles hey?!

MESSY MANSION MAKES TIDY NAILS: STAMPING PLATE REVIEW

You'll probably have a few different companies come to mind when I say the word 'stamping plates' one of which will most definitely be Messy Mansion.  This company is Australian based and specialises in all things STAMPING!  They are really quite well known for their unique and original plate designs as well as accessories; they literally have everything covered in the stamping department.

Whether you're just starting out or have been stamping for a while, picking a stamping plate can be tricky process.  There is certain questions you have to ask yourself upon purchasing.  Do you want a novelty plate with a central theme running through all of the images or do you want a versatile plate, with lots of different patterns that can be adapted to any occasion?  Messy Mansion has you covered in whatever stamping direction you wish to go down, and traditionally I go for the latter of the 2.  Out of the 6 new plates released from Messy Mansion, I have 4 to show you today;  two are more "novelty" plates with a central theme and two are more "traditional" plates with different versatile patterns.

WINSTONIA OR BINSTONIA; THAT IS THE QUESTION?!

Somebody once told me "a bad work-man blames his tools."  I am a true believer in this statement, however, how about we flip that on its positive head with "every work-man needs good tools?!"  Okay, okay... So I know we're not (all) men here BUT we are still using tools of some description, and I think its super important to have a decent set, agreed?

With that being said, enter Winstonia.  This is their 3 piece striper pen set; there is a short, medium and a long brush which is great for versatile use.  Prior to this set, I have been using a cheap, no-name eBay brush for my striping and detailing work, so even having these in my house felt like royalty before I'd even used them.

SNAIL VINYLS THE REVIEW: ESCAR-GO OR ESCAR-NO?! #SnailVinyls

If you haven't heard of Nail Vinyls before - where have you been?!  I have to presume living under a rock; because to me, it seems like the whole online nail community has gone crazy for them, myself included.  Just in-case you're not planning on coming out of your rock any-time soon; nail vinyl's are small pre-cut stickers for your nails that come in loads of different patterns, shapes and sizes.  The most popular ones are chevrons and single chevrons.

The vinyl's pictured below are from Snail Vinyls - a company based in America, who make everything they sell in their store by hand.  They offer a huge variety of vinyl's; everything from waves to diamonds, stars, fire and swirls.

DIY NAILS: "ITS ALL IN THE DECAL" REVIEW #ILOVEDIYNAILS

First of all, let me start off by saying, wow.  I felt I should be honest about the first thing I spoke after applying this product to my nails.  These decals are by DIY Nails who are a UK Based company - actually, a Scotland based company.

I am really impressed by everything about DIY nails, one of the main reasons is the utterly original, extremely detailed and incredibly unique designs that are on offer from them.. I have never seen anything like it before.  If you want a fuss free manicure that will be sure to have an eye-catching effect, then look no further than DIY nails.

BORN PRETTY STORE STAMPING PLATES: GOOD-BYE TACKY & HELLO CLASSY!

I was super intrigued when I found out that Born Pretty Store had launched a new Stamping plate collection which included new additions of circular plates as well as larger rectangular ones.  I always thought MoYou London were onto something special with this size of plate, and it seems Born Pretty thought so too.

I will admit, I own less than 8 of the original (circular) Born Pretty Plates.  The reason for this this was I was never too impressed with the (in my opinion) tacky designs.  Well, since I now have 3 from this new collection; 2 circular and 1 rectangular - my opinion has changed; Good-bye Tacky & Hello Classy!

Scratch Nail Wraps: SpangleyNails On Location At Edinburgh Zoo!

I am a total lover of Nail Wraps.  They are super quick to apply and go on extremely easy.  Scratch Nail Wraps, in my opinion, are royalty in the world of Nail Wraps.  Their designs are so unique and original.  Their packaging and marketing is out of this world!

These nail wraps are from a design collaboration Scratch have done with Rik Lee, he has designed 3 amazing sets of nail wraps to celebrate Women during the month of March.

"Wearing the Panda's on your nails shows your peaceful strength and balance between masculine and feminine, the ying and yang."

EDGE NAILS: AM I ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT OR TAKING A BACK SEAT?

If you're anything like me, then you'll know nothing compares to fluttery feeling when something new and exciting comes along.  Allow me to introduce Edge Nails...

Edge Nails is a UK brand specialising in professional nail and beauty products.  You may have seen them before if you have access to wholesalers/salon supply services.  Aside from the professional products, there is also a collection of 45 nail polishes on offer from them, some are jelly, some are creme and I may have even spotted a glitter in there too.

All swatches below are 2 coats, topped with 1 coat of Edge Nails Top Coat.  I was utterly shocked (in a good way!) at how opaque these polishes were in 1 coat, I found myself applying a second coat out of habit more than need.

Review: Born Pretty Store Stamper & Scraper Set

Hi everyone.  A while ago I received this stamper and scraper set from Born Pretty Store.  I discovered recently, that there was some sort of error with the post and blogger never published it.  I've decided to scrap the whole thing and write a new one, complete with new Nail Art.

I had always wanted one of these large stampers.  After reading several reviews and watching several YouTube review videos it seemed to be the 'stamper of choice' by some of my favourite stamping nail artists. You can imagine my excitement when I got the chance to try one out for myself...
